- The ZINCEXTM technology from TR will be applied to zinc recovery from various zinc oxides secondary materials. This new hydrometallurgical plant will be annexed to existing Akita Zinc Co. zinc refinery at Iijima, Akita, Japan, and will have a capacity of 20,000 tons per year SHG zinc. Expected start-up is on January 2010.
